What are your rates?
Rates are the same for Website building or Computer repair - Just $45.00 per hour.
An office visit is $45.00 regardless if we are there 15 minutes or the full hour. After the first hour we charge in 15 minute increments. So a 1 hr 15 min call would only be $56.25.
If you drop off your computer or we come and pick it up our rates are $45.00 an hour. Again after the 1st hour we charge at 15 minute increments.
How long does it take to build a website?
Website builds typically take 20 to 30 hours depending on the type and sophistication of the website.
Do you charge extra for office visits?
It depends. We have a 20 mile radius from Lancaster. After that it is a $1.00 a mile and $45.00 an hour. So a 25 mile ride plus a 1 hour visit would be $50.00.
What is your warranty on repairs.
We use the manufacturer's warranty for parts and 90 days on our labor. For cleaning and malware removal we have a 7 day warranty.
Is it less expensive to work on the computer at our office?
No, when possible, it is less expensive for us to work on the computer at our lab. This way you are not charged for software running on your system. If we are at your office you are paying for us to be there even if we are waiting for a scan to finish.
Can you recover all my files?
Normally if a hard drive fails, it is the operating system that became corrupted and most of the time we can recover about 95% of your files or data. We use state of the art software that recover files that are slightly corrupted. If they are too heavily damaged we can send them to a special lab but this tends to be very expensive and time consuming. If the hard drive no longer spins than the special lab is the only option. It is always a good idea to back up your files!
